Production Technician Second Shift

Adecco is assisting our client in recruiting for Production Technician jobs in Hamburg, NJ. These jobs are direct hire opportunities with our client! As a Production Technician worker, you will operate production machines, ensure the manufacturing lines have enough product to continue running, complete job quality and production reporting, and ensure quality control requirements.


Responsibilities for Production Technician jobs include but are not limited to:


  • Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures
  • Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process
  • Taking precise measurements to ensure a perfect fit of components
  • Selecting or modifying components according to measurements and specifications
  • Aligning material and putting together parts to build more complex units
  • Transfers process and product information to other process technicians and/or supervision as necessary to insure timely response to essential actions.
  • Operates a variety of production / processing equipment where and when required to meet customer requirements.
  • Assists co-workers in performing a variety of operations enabling an uninterrupted work flow.
  • Acts as a fill-in process technician, when required, in areas where continuous production is necessary.
  • Reports to the department Foreperson or Supervisor any condition affecting the quality or quality of work being produced.
  • Reports to the department Foreperson or Supervisor all accidents or unsafe conditions in the work area.
  • Wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) and keeps work area clean at all times.
  • Uses appropriate gauging equipment and methods (as defined in the Manufacturing Quality Plan - MQP) to monitor and maintain quality of the parts produced.
  • Identifies discrepant parts, either visually or in conjunction with various gauging equipment, and completes the appropriate documentation required to identify the defects.
  • Repairs and reworks discrepant parts using a variety of hand tools, motorized devices, and other equipment or materials required for parts to conform to customer requirements.
  • Identifies parts that are not salvageable and assists the responsible Foreperson or Supervisor to coordinate the appropriate disposition.
  • Transports work within the factory as required.


You should meet the following qualifications to be considered for a Manufacturing Assembly job:


  • 1 year experience in production environment
  • Must have HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
