Sign on bonus may apply Under the general direction of the Enrichment/Youth & Family Engagement Director, the SACC Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day childcare operations while maintaining care site conditions.
The SACC Coordinator will prepare the child care schedule to ensure member safety and engagement in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.
The SACC coordinator will also serve as the coordinator for Child Watch at the facility.
Essential Functions:

Develop and manage before and after care schedules for optimal child supervision
Ensure licensing and staff certifications are valid
Offer and participate in staff trainings and onboarding
Cover child care shifts as needed
Manage program supplies for offsite facilities
Assist in the marketing and distribution of program information
Work with Enrichment/Youth & Family Engagement Director to monitor program budget to meet fiscal objectives
Participate in Association Quality and Business Development Teams
Participate in trainings or workshops which will enhance professional growth
Participate in and support the Annual Support Campaign and play a leadership role in the campaign at the YMCA
Maintain professional and courteous demeanor and positive attitude when interacting with staff, members or parents
As a member of the Key staff, share responsibility for the administration of the success for the overall Branch performance and help maintain a positive image for the YMCA
Demonstrate and model the YMCAs four core values; caring, honesty, respect and responsibility
Exhibit personal and professional behavior in a manner consistent with the best interest of the Association, so as not to bring discredit to the Association

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/
Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Education, Recreation or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of three (3) years experience working with children in active setting, including knowledge of recreation and environmental activities.

Strong Customer Service, Time Management and Organizational skills.

Strong fiscal management and budgeting skills.

Ability to work independently and manage all situations with poise applying effective judgement and sound decision making.

Must have Flexible work schedule
Strong commitment to following all sanitation procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build team spirit, communicate with all levels of staff.

Ability to problem solve and take initiative that adhere to the purpose, mission and goals of the YMCA.

Strong computer skills, software proficiency with Microsoft applications.

CPR and First Aid certification is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be capable of being on your feet for long periods with agility to move about and throughout work areas/event space and in any type of outdoor weather element.
Must be capable of bending, kneeling, squatting and lifting 30 pounds.
